With the integration of MIPS AIR®, MET have incorporated the lightest and most advanced rotational management system directly into the helmet’s padding. MIPS AIR® is specially engineered to mitigate rotational forces that can be transferred to the head during certain angled impacts, enabling 10-15mm of relative movement between the energy-absorbing layer and the padding for optimal protection.

The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS’s construction sets an unparalleled standard in performance. The MET R&D team has harnessed the carbon’s elastic modulus to reduce EPS foam density by 20%, creating a lighter yet more high-performing shell, setting a new benchmark in ventilated helmet design.

Employing the Venturi effect, the helmet channels hot air through strategically placed exhausts, ensuring a continuous airflow without increasing drag. The helmet’s tail
enhances aerodynamics, working in harmony with the NACA front air intake and rear deflector to guide airflow with optimal efficiency.
