As the plus-tire fad faded and tires returned to less-balloon-y dimensions, there was a whistle-stop at around a 2.6” tire that turned out to ride really nicely, delivering the traction and confidence that plus-tire advocates had claimed for the real behemoths, but also performed like the aggressive trail tires we love. The Reserve 37 is designed specifically for tires between 2.5 and 2.8 inches in diameter, and is 37mm wide internally to support the larger casing these tires have.
